When the exhaust gas enters the round bottom flask and it is absorbed upward through the absorption column, it will be absorbed. The absorption liquid is pumped into the flask from the bottom of the round flask through the diaphragm pump and falls from the top to the opposite direction of the exhaust gas through the absorption column, thus more effectively increasing the contact between the two. Absorption can be carried out by active absorption devices, such as using nitrogen as a carrier gas, or by using vacuum to guide through the absorption device.
